What can a MyPad Host do?

MY PAD will take on hosting responsibilities for your listing and offer a little extra support whenever you welcome guests to your place. A host responds rapidly aswell as getting the best guest reviews, they will get you the best rate and increase occupancy. Remember they don’t earn until you do!!

Here are the different responsibilities & duties MY PAD carries out with your property:

Help getting your space ready for visitors

MY PAD will help prepare your condo so it’s ready to welcome visitors. We can help with informal interior design (like suggesting decorations, lamps, etc.), recommending repairs to prepare the unit, purchasing necessary items, creating a list of supplies to be restocked after each visitors stay (e.g. soap, toilet paper), setting up a lockbox, creating a house manual, and more. Be sure to discuss with MY PAD how to handle expenses.

List & Optimise your condo profile

MY PAD will create a listing for your place on Airbnb & other channels. Your hosting agent can help with writing a professional description, coming up with an appealing & meaningful headline, taking and uploading images & videos, aswell as helping you  to determine the correct dynamic pricing for your property listings. We want your profile to be visible to the entire global world so your pad can be viewed to as many possible clients.

Message & interact with guests

MY PAD will communicate with guests for you. They will talk with guests using their own Airbnb account to get to know guests, answer questions they may have, and coordinate their arrival and departure. Be sure to chat with MY PAD about how you’d like them to handle communication with guests they can also contact Airbnb to report and work toward resolution of any issues you or your guests have during their stay. Keep in mind, you’re responsible for the actions they take as an co-host for your listing.

Handle reservations & bookings

MY PAD will handle reservations & booking for your unit. If you decide to turn on Instant Book for your listing, guests can book instantly without requiring approval. But if you prefer to review each reservation request, inquiries will have to be manually accepted or declined. Guests appreciate timely responses, so be sure to discuss your expectations with MY PAD. Once we have a booking confirmed you will be notified either by email or instant messaging.

Update calendar and pricing

MY PAD will update your calendar and pricing for you. Keeping the listing’s availability up to date is important so guests know when they can book. We can help you decide whether to set prices manually or use Dynamic Pricing. Dynamic Pricing automatically adjusts your listing’s price for you, which is great when there are local events, festivals, or conferences that could raise the price of your listing. Be sure to discuss with  MY PAD how you’d like to price your place and maintain your calendar with us. We strive not to double book & do let us know when you need to book for your friends & family.

Welcome guests in person

MY PAD will welcome or coordinate in-person guest check-ins & check-outs for you. You can ask MY PAD to meet your guests in-person, or you choose to let guests in from a lockbox or door code. You choose what works best for you. Guests will be invited to rate their check-in & check out experiences, so be sure to discuss the specifics of what you’d like with your host. We hand pick & train professional, articulate &well mannered hosting agents who know how to deal with all different personalities.

Review & respond to guest issues

MY PAD will review your guests and leave feedback for you. My Pad is a trusted community that relies on ratings for both guests and hosts. Be sure to chat with us about how you’d like them to handle guest reviews.We also help handle guest-related travel issues for you. Guests might lock themselves out, the shower may stop working, or the internet may go down. We can jump in to help with the unexpected. Its important for us the guest is full taken care of & has a fantastic experience in your unit.

Restock essential supplies & welcome gifts

MY PAD will help stock your place with a few basic guest necessities like towels, toilet paper, and soap.Guests depend on these basics while staying in an My Pad unit, so be sure to talk with us about the supplies needed, when and how they’ll be restocked, and how expenses should be handled. We can also provide ready made welcome gift hampers to important long staying guests who visit your unit more than once or classified as VIP corporate client.

Coordinate cleaning, linens & repairs

MY PAD will coordinate the cleaning of your space for you. Cleaning costs are often handled with a cleaning fee, paid for by the guest or the landlord. A clean unit is something guests expect, and they’ll have the opportunity to rate the cleanliness of your listing after guests check out. MY PAD can also coordinate repairs for you. If something needs a fix, we suggest talking with you host about what repairs are needed, when the listing should be repaired, and how expenses will be handled.

Security of your property

MY PAD will take care of your home like it’s their own. We screen guests before they book, and we can provide property management and security services. Your MY PAD will be on call 24/7 & will have full access to your unit whilst your away or living in an overseas country. Upon check in the My PAD will take passport photocopies of all guests and check them in with the local property management of the building. We also can supply the latest smart home technology offering a wide range of different devices which will make you feal more safe.
